Hi, I’m Stéphane — a digital enthusiast, based in France, with over 20 years of experience working at the crossroads of design, technology, and productivity.
What I do professionally
Over the past 20 years, I’ve worn many hats on the business side of digital projects. I’ve led product and project initiatives from early discovery through delivery — defining roadmaps, aligning stakeholders, managing timelines and budgets, and bridging the gap between technical teams and business goals.
My background spans product management (user research, feature prioritization, product strategy), project management (planning, delivery, cross-functional coordination), and digital transformation — helping organizations evolve their tools, processes, and culture to embrace new technologies. Working in the construction sector has sharpened my ability to make complex technical topics accessible to non-technical audiences and to drive adoption in environments that aren’t naturally tech-forward.
How I got into code
In 2019, I made a deliberate decision to go deeper into software development and attended the Coding Academy by Epitech. That training solidified my foundations in web development — HTML/CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, SQL, and more. Since then, I’ve been building projects on the side, writing about what I learn, and staying curious about how technology keeps reshaping the way we work.
What I write about
This blog is where I think out loud. You’ll find articles on:
- PKM & note-taking — I’ve been using Obsidian for several years as my second brain, and I write honestly about what works, what doesn’t, and how my system evolved
- AI & Vibe Coding — I recently shipped MyAbonPlus, a free iOS subscription tracker built with Cursor, ChatGPT, and V0, with no prior Swift experience
- JavaScript & TypeScript — from functional programming concepts like currying and pure functions, to practical React patterns and TypeScript best practices
- Productivity & tools — automation with Make.com, AI-assisted workflows, Mac tooling, and the ongoing quest to do more with less
How I work
I’m a strong believer in the KISS principle — keep it stupid simple. Whether it’s code, note-taking, or the apps I choose to run on my Mac, I tend to favor simplicity, data ownership, and tools that get out of the way.
I write mainly in English and I cross-post on Medium.
